My sweet cousin McKenzie turned 11 in March and we were lucky enough to get to be part of her luau themed birthday party in Virginia.
To kick off the weekend, we attended McKenzie's school talent show where she stole the show with her performance of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep."
On Saturday, we hosted 17 fifth graders for a crazy, loud, messy Hawaiian bash. Libby was so caught up in the festivities that she completely skipped her afternoon nap. She loved dancing with the kids and partaking in all the games and activities.
McKenzie's birthday party coincided with the one year anniversary of my Aunt Holly's death, so we gathered for a balloon release in the afternoon as a tribute to the one person who would have made such a great weekend even better.
