On the road again...

So, remember that time Tom quit his teaching job in NC so that we could move to Ohio and then he worked in sales but really, really missed teaching so he found a teaching job in Columbus?

That's right, friends...we're moving! This has all happened so fast so I barely have all the details straight myself but here's what I know:

Tom will be teaching high school social studies in Delaware, Ohio (about 45 minutes north of Columbus). He will also be coaching their middle school football team. Delaware is a cute little town (or so Google Images tells me) that is home to Ohio Wesleyan University. Tom's new school is a about the same size and demographic as his old school in NC (they even have "Drive Your Tractor to School Day" and get two days off for the county fair). School starts August 15th and football, even sooner, so the next few weeks are going to be crazy. I've already had a few near-mental-breakdowns, thankyouverymuch. But we are so.darn.excited. My sister lives in Columbus, as do our dear friends Mike and Renee, and we will still be only be about 2 hours away from our parents. We are excited to live close to Columbus (the only major city in Ohio we both agreed we could see ourselves settling long-term) but are ready to embrace the more small-town, country feel of a town like Delaware.

We are really starting to feel like all the chances we took, sacrifices we made and faith we had is paying off and we are thrilled to finally have a place we can call home for a very long time.

So it is with great excitement (and a bit of trepidation) that I can now say--Go Barons!
